Onstage Systems recently helped their long-time clients at Gilley’s Dallas with several upgrades in the Gilley’s complex. The Loft, one of their smaller spaces with a great view of the Dallas skyline, got a major upgrade with a new L’acoustics KARA PA system, along with SB18 and driven by LA8 and LA4x amplifiers. They also updated their old analog FOH set up to a new Midas M32 console, as well as bringing in some new QSC wedges on stage. It all makes for a compact and budget friendly system that still packs some serious power and flexibility.
In their biggest venue space, the Southside Ballroom, we recently helped them update their semi-permanent in house staging system with the purchase and installation of a Biljax AS2100 aluminum stage deck system. The Ballroom also recently had us help update their FOH system processors, driving the VDOSC system we installed there many years ago. We went with Lab.gruppen LM26s for crossover and system control, which adds a new level of precision and control for tuning and monitoring the PA, which supports national headline artists, as well as large scale private events and parties in their 4000 capacity room.
